Well its nice to hear that the President is concerned about the environment, getting rid of these officials that didn't serve the environment well. They don't deserve their positions! The article above is right...if there is a law about illegal logging, then why are there still complaints and reports about finding, confiscating chopped down trees by these illegal loggers. This is much better, I hope, new officials to straighten up and do the job of those sacked officials. I just hope they do their jobs well.

The negative side is, is there much time left to do the right thing? or even will they do the right thing? So much wasted time just to realize that these officials are not doing their jobs. Instead of saving the environment and possibly the lives of millions, of US, they are just standing their doing NOTHING! I feel pity for them losing their jobs but there is no other way. If they really did their jobs well, trees will THANK them if trees can.
Can you imagine a place without trees? without air? without anything?

If I were the President, I'll hire my best and trusted official to these jobs, I'll have someone or even me monitoring their progress in work and stuff. I'll make sure that every cent that I spend for their budget in protecting the environment and restoring them ,if they can, counts. I'll make stricter laws and heavier punishments for those who fail to follow the rules. If I caught groups still doing illegal logging in my country , I'll show to the media what punishment best suite's them and set them as example to those who still wants to break the law.

If I were the man assigned by the President in this task of protecting the environment, I'll do my best in doing my responsibility and promote to my co-workers that in our hands, we can save the future state of our country. Follow the exact rules and procedures the President said and do my job efficiently and effectively.

Catching and stopping illegal logging doesn't only put bad guys to jail, but also it is a way of SAVING our environment. I want to save the environment too and my first step in doing that is joining a club in school to save the environment.

Do your job for the environment !
